For the thirty seventh episode and twelfth episode of Season 2, Vincent A. Lanci brings on Renée Burwell, LCSW, MPA, AASECT Certified Sex Therapist.
Burwell is a skilled psychotherapist and educator with a specialization in sex therapy and trauma. Her practice, Pandora's Awakening, offers services and educational outreach that help de-stigmatize mental and sexual health services. She was awarded “Family Life Educator” of the year by Planned Parenthood of Tennessee and North Mississippi.
Renée offers trainings and workshops to healthcare and social services professionals on mental health, sexual health, and reproductive choice. She is also the executive director of the Tennessee Alliance of Sexual Health, AASECT’s Mid-Continent Representative, an active member of the Association of Black Sexologist, and is a writer and educator for Bedroom Kandi. She has presented all over the country regarding sexual health and reproductive rights.
